This plaque lies at the entrance to Senna Chicane, the first turn at the Adelaide City Circuit, where Ayrton Senna thrilled race fans for the better part of a decade.

The circuit has been shortened since the last Adelaide F1 GP in 1995 but still sees ferociously competitive racing as the setting for the annual Australian V8 Supercars Clipsal 500 endurance race.
